Reunion! And I am in love again!

When I saw you again last week I knew immediately. It must be you and I again. Everything else seems impossible.
And since then my mind have been constantly occupied trying to figure out the best way to make you mine again.
There are so many different ways to go about this and I try to value them against each other. Should I just walk up to you and tell it like it is, that I miss you and that I can not go on without you! Or should I take it a bit more slow and make you mine bit by bit? Can I live with the delay it means to get you the wiser way?
And of course I can't ignore the other problem. My present companion, what am I going to do with him? Should I end it directly or should I keep him for a while? Or is there maybe someone else who wants him? I believe that maybe someone with lower demands than me could make some use of him. He has been ever so faithful to me during the last five years but lately I have noticed a decreasing strength and a total lack of interest and enthusiasm from him. Every one of my demands or wishes has been turned down or been executed with constant objections and severe delays. That sort of behaviour brings out the worst in me and makes me loose my temper. And it also ruins every inspiring thought in my mind and makes it absolutely impossible to be creative.
I need a companion that understands me and help me share my thoughts, feelings and knowledge with others. The tired response I get from my present companion to, even small and easy suggestion from me, has slowly killed all my enthusiasm up to a point where I don't even bother to try anymore.
But all that changed when I saw you again last week. And the image of you is now all I can see for my inner vision. Every time I look at my present companion I see you instead, fresh, vivid, full of ideas and absolutely amazing. You look nothing like my present companion that mostly reassembles a long lost species from the past and a total waste of space. Not to mention all the annoying sounds that he constantly makes, even when he is sleeping. After seeing you, I regard him as unnecessary big and ugly and his belongings are scattered around the place where he is.
After a long internal debate I decided not to postpone this any further. Suddenly, it was obvious and I knew. I had to get close to you again and get the kind of treatment that only you can give me.
After making all the necessary preparations the day for our reunion was finally here. I was so exited driving to the place where I saw you last week. I made sure that I parked my car at a spot that would be most convenient for our departure and began the short walk to the destination.
I entered the building with firm and quick steps- and there you where! Your appearance was fantastic! Everything else disappeared around me and all I could se was you! You looked extremely fit and slim and I could tell that the past years had been good for you. I instantly felt that former excitement again in your presence and I couldn't think of anything else than to get my hands on you again.
The company clerk was working so slow that it looks like she was sleeping or something and I thought to myself; how can it be that difficult for her to hurry up so we could get out of there!
After returning to my place I felt happy and relaxed and I instantly knew that from now on, everything would be so easy. I didn't feel any hesitation at all. My old companion was already totally forgotten and thrown out the door in a hurry.
Replaced with you.
I just stood there, admiring your excellent lines and your very special look. Amazing! Your lines look thin and slim but I know that behind that beautiful and in some way soft appearance great powers are hidden that will serve me in a magnificent way.
When I turned you on you responded immediately and our first encounter felt both familiar but also as something totally new.
I spent a couple of hours exploring the new you and I felt happy inside.
After the first clumsy attempt my fingers and my mind seemed to remember by themselves and all old memories from the past came back to me. Everything with you is simple and straightforward. You seem to know how I want things done before I know it myself and your mind works in a fantastic and inventive way, showing me the most wonderful things. You also bring out the best in me and help me to perform at my best. You are everything and more than I ever wanted. You are complete and I don't want to change anything about you.
After an evening with you I feel how my former energy and creativity comes back. It is absolutely fantastic and now we can create magic together over and over again.
I now know that I have been lost for so long and I can't understand why or how I could choose someone else before you.
From now on it is you and I.
And I make a promise that I will never even look at a PC again.
From now on I will be faithful to you – my iMac!

Hi Ashantina, Yes, do that! I promise that you wont be disappointed. It is a great experience:) As I wrote I had only Macs for many years and for some reason I swopped to PC. It is not until now when I have a mac again that I feel what I have been missing. Macs are pure joy to work with!

Good heavens! I thought you were writing about... could not believe my eyes.... thought you were kicked by a mule. Eventually I realized you are pulling my leg. Hahaha! Please pinpoint the difference between Macs and PC in a hub. I’ve never worked on Macs and would love to know what it is all about. Hi Martie, how nice too see you agin! Kicked by a mule.. such a lovely expression:) Although it would be great to be so madly in love again I think I stick too my present love! The love that exists in a long time relationship is priceless and wonderful and cant compete with that exiting love when everything else doesn't matter. Hi Tom! I know, and it is sad that even Mac now are targets for spy ware and viruses.
The big difference is about the stability and that Macs are simple and logical to use. Thanks for warning me, one cant be safe even on a Mac:)

Wow I was totally involved in this - I couldn't wait t find out what would happen - and then!!! What a great hub - awesome and very funny too. Macs are awesome - I would love one and when this ancient PC gives up the ghost I will definitely try to purchase a Mac!

Yes my old companion is still here, both my husband and my pc:)) But the pc has a much less prominent position these days and is hardly ever used any more. I have noticed that many don't know so much about macs or iMacs so I might write a hub about my views on this. But the thing I like the most with Apple computers is that they just work without any problems. I have a pc now at work and we are not the best of friends!

An iPad is on my wish- list, it seems so practical, and with the new iCloud I could work on my iMac at home and have my iPad with me! Oh, that sounds like paradise:))
In the absence of a new lover, we will have to settle for great technology!

Yes I could easily fall in love with a car too, but if a car would come up to the standard of a Mac then it would probably be way too expensive for me:)) That is the beauty with a Mac, they cost a little bit more but it isn't impossible!
